Murray signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Predators on Monday.
Scouting Report
A late-blooming goalkeeper, he went undrafted in the NHL but put up outstanding numbers at the University of Massachusetts. That earned him a pro contract, where he has continued to shine at lower levels. Lacks optimum size for the goaltending position at the National Hockey League level, but his persistence and never-quit attitude makes up for any physical shortcomings he may endure.
Long Range Potential: Depth goaltender with a little upside.
