Forsberg was the first goalie off during Wednesday's morning skate, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports, indicating that he'll draw the road start against Seattle.
Forsberg allowed three goals on 24 shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Sharks.
The Swedish goalkeeper is still trying to translate his success at home and in the AHL into a full-time role in the NHL. Has good size (6’2”) but needs to fill out and add strength to maximize his skills. At his best, he is a butterfly netminder who likes to challenge shooters. Remains somewhat raw and needs work on his technique in order to become consistent enough to play at the NHL level.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent but talented goaltender.
