Palmieri will miss 6-8 months after undergoing surgery to repair an ACL tear in his left knee, the team announced Saturday.
Scouting Report
Was a reliable 20-goal scorer in his 20s, but some of that scoring touch has vanished as he has moved into his 30s. Still shows plenty of energy and is more than willing to pay the price to get to the front of the net, despite being relatively small for an NHL winger. Lacks a booming shot but makes up for it with a quick release. Continues to work on improving his two-way game.
Long Range Potential: Energetic, inconsistent scoring winger.
