Scouting Report

One of the NHL's smallest defensemen, he makes up for his lack of size with his puck-carrying, skating and shooting abilities, as well as his high hockey IQ. Produces good offensive numbers on a regular basis thanks to his accurate point shot and passing skills. Injuries are an occasional issue because of his lack of size, but when he is healthy he can play huge minutes effectively on a nightly basis. Always leads by example.
