Had excellent size, which he used effectively to intimidate scoring forwards. Owned a hard shot from the point. Moved relatively well for a huge man. Was always somewhat injury-prone. Struggled at times with his lateral mobility. Lacked consistency in the defensive zone. Was also prone to taking bad penalties.
Long Range Potential: Towering, physical but brittle defenseman.
