Had a uniquely versatile package of size, explosiveness and physicality. A big-play guy in college football, he had the speed to stay with most receivers when dropping back, and was blessed with a great wingspan and big hands (factors that helped him play bigger than his size). Had a non-stop motor, made plays from sideline to sideline and loved to hit people. Was not always a wrap-up tackler and could lose the handle at times when going for a big hit. Played a bit out of control at times (in part due to his incredible intensity), which placed him at risk for missed plays and flags.
