The Cowboys placed Phillips (wrist) on injured reserve Wednesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Scouting Report
Has tremendous size and girth, plus very quick feet. Can dominate at the line of scrimmage and handles double-teams rather well--making him ideal for the nose tackle position. Is also versatile enough to play 4-3 defensive tackle. His athleticism vis-a-vis his size is impressive. Lacks some consistency in all aspects of the game. Also lacks a dominant pass rush, so he's more valuable against the run than the pass.
Long Range Potential: Massive interior defensive lineman.
