The Jaguars placed Campbell (hamstring) on injured reserve Thursday.
Campbell is expected to miss time after sustaining a hamstring injury during the Jaguars' 20-17 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
The young cornerback has all the physical tools to excel in the NFL: he has smooth hips and agile feet, though his footwork needs to become more consistent. The former high school sprinter has the speed to close, recover and make plays, but he has to become more accustomed to playing the receiver rather than an area in zone coverage and improve in getting off receivers' blocks.
Long Range Potential: Physically gifted cornerback.
