Jackson, who agreed to a contract buyout with the Hornets on Tuesday, plans to sign with the 76ers upon clearing waivers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Fairly complete and confident running an offense, excelling as a scorer and showing strong playmaking skills in general. Excellent at finding his way to the hoop and is fearless as a finisher. Uses good court vision, anticipation, and elusiveness to make plays for his team. Also solid hitting the 3-pointer. Can do more as a distributor, especially since he's probably limited to playing mostly point guard as a pro (due to his size). Would benefit from reining in his shot-making decisions. Has some history of knee problems, so needs to show he can stay healthy.
Long Range Potential: Quality offensive starting point guard (when healthy and focused).
