The Reds acquired Rogers from the Giants on Wednesday in exchange for Braxton Roxby, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Scouting Report
Owns excellent breaking pitches, which he combines nicely with his solid fastball. Displays good endurance (can even finish what he starts in the minor leagues). Needs to continue improving his changeup in order to maximize output in Major League Baseball. Perhaps he is in the strike zone too much (he is a bit too hittable).
Long Range Potential: Versatile left-hander.
