Hirose (concussion) made progress Tuesday after being injured in Saturday's exhibition game against Calgary, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Scouting Report
Does not have great size and strength, but he moves the puck very well and uses an active stick in the defensive zone. Also displays some untapped offensive ability. Needs to get stronger in order to maximize output at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Puck-moving defenseman.
