Kokkonen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Maple Leafs on Wednesday.
Scouting Report
Plays a solid game from the back end. Makes a crisp first pass and keeps things simple in his own end. Can also produce points at lower levels but is not a natural offensive defenseman. Can play big minutes in all game situations, but he needs to improve his overall skating ability in order to maximize output at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Solid, all-around defenseman with some upside.
