|
Bernard-Docker (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Friday, per the NHL media site.
Bernard-Docker sustained a high-ankle sprain that is expected to keep him out long term, per TSN 1200 Ottawa on Tuesday.
A quality blueliner, he owns excellent mobility, projectable NHL size and a very good shot from the point. Capable of quarterbacking the power play, he has plenty of offensive acumen and shutdown ability too. Will need to fill out his frame in order to maximize his all-around talent from the back end at the highest level, since he lacks some strength. Also needs to continue to work on his positioning and defensive-zone coverage.
Long Range Potential: Talented, all-round defenseman with some upside.
