Callahan was recalled from AHL Providence on Saturday, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports.
Scouting Report
Has good size for an NHL defenseman. Moves the puck fairly well and limits his mistakes in the defensive zone. Does not boast a ton of offensive acumen, but he keeps things simple and is a somewhat reliable defender.
Long Range Potential: Depth defenseman.
