Carcone inked a one-year contract with Utah on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Scouting Report
Small but skilled, the journeyman forward was never drafted but has put in plenty of time at the AHL level (while occasionally getting a chance to show what he can do in the NHL). He plays with plenty of energy, and his offensive numbers have grown as he has matured. He sees far less power-play time in the NHL, so he must continue to improve his two-way play to succeed.
Long Range Potential: Offensive depth forward.
