DiPietro was reassigned to AHL Providence on Friday, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal.
Scouting Report
A little on the smallish side by NHL goaltending standards, he had a lot of success in both junior hockey and the AHL (though he struggled some in his first few NHL appearances). Has a solid glove hand, is improving technically and getting better at challenging shooters. He still has to add upper-body strength and show that he can be a consistently successful starter at the NHL level.
Long Range Potential: Promising goaltender.
