The 2015 first-round draft pick is a smooth, though not dynamic, skater who is willing to take a hit in order to make a play. Has very good on-ice vision and is capable of playing a strong two-way game. He can at times try to do too much. Provides mobility and a willingness to block shots. Though he has been slowed by injuries, he is still young enough to grow into an NHL regular.
