Draisaitl (lower body) will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 regular season, the team announced Tuesday.

Scouting Report

There is so much the best German-born player in NHL history can do offensively: he is an excellent skater and playmaker who can find teammates in open areas or finish off plays himself. His one liability is his play when his team does not have the puck, although he is getting better defensively and can even be used on the penalty kill (where he is a constant threat to score while shorthanded). Offensively, very few players can match him.
