Scouting Report
The late-blooming forward did not make it to the NHL until he was almost 30, but he carved out a role as a defense-first forward despite his lack of size. That is largely because he skated well even late into his 30s. He also had the kind of hockey smarts that made him an excellent depth option and was a reliable presence in the face-off circle.
