Mascherin inked a three-year, entry-level contract with Dallas on Friday.
Scouting Report
Owns a deadly shot and has a pure sniper's profile. Is also an excellent playmaker with great vision and passing skills. Versatile, he is capable of lining up at all three forward positions. Is fairly gritty. Does not own ideal size for the National Hockey League (though he makes up for a lack of height with a strong lower base). While quick on his skates, he does not own top-end, straight-line speed.
Long Range Potential: Talented, versatile scoring forward with upside.
