The Swedish defenseman has an excellent combination of size and skating ability, making him both a shutdown defenseman as well as someone who can contribute offensively. Plays in all situations and averages more than 20 minutes per game, year after year, though injuries have been an occasional problem. Is not a physical presence in his own zone but will block a ton of shots.
