Scouting Report
He has never been the kind of offensive defenseman his draft status (No. 4 overall in 2011) suggested he would become, but has developed into a solid shutdown defenseman who plays with poise and can move the puck. Is an excellent penalty killer who knows how to use his size, and he can play 20-plus minutes per game despite rarely seeing time on the power play.
Long Range Potential: Minute-munching defensive defenseman.
