An extremely aggressive defenseman, he likes to dish out punishment from the back end. Can also play a wing position at the highest level as a physical, energy type. Does not own a wealth of offensive acumen, so points are not easy to come by at the National Hockey League level. Can at times be guilty of being too aggressive.
