Scouting Report
The diminutive forward compensated for a lack of size with speed and smarts. Read plays well and could toil in all situations. Scored 20-plus goals multiple times, even if he did not see a lot of power-play time. His lack of size and strength were always his biggest impediments; he did not win a lot of puck battles and missed chunks of time with injuries over the years.
Long Range Potential: Diminutive but versatile scoring forward (when healthy).
