Scouting Report

Is continuing to put up excellent offensive numbers well after turning 30. He is a superb skater with great mobility, acceleration and lateral movement, and he knows when to join the attack and when to hang back. An outstanding athlete, he can finish plays as well. Has a history of missing chunks of time because of injuries. Is one of the few defensemen who is dangerous in shootouts and is called on regularly.

Long Range Potential: Elite offensive defenseman.
