Samoskevich is dealing with an upper-body injury and won't be an option for either of Florida's preseason games against Nashville on Sunday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports Thursday.
Samoskevich was loaned to AHL Charlotte on Sunday, per David Dwork of The Hockey News.
The talented forward really stands out with the puck on his stick. He has the speed and hands to beat defenders on the move. His playmaking skills are solid and he has a shot that can beat goaltenders from midrange. He is a bit on the small side and is not particularly physical. Also, his defensive play is a work in progress.
Long Range Potential: Talented, versatile offensive forward.
