Olausson will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season after undergoing shoulder surgery Monday.
Scouting Report
The Swedish forward has the speed and skill needed to produce regularly in the NHL. He is more of a shooter than a passer when play gets into the offensive zone. He gets back defensively and works well off the puck. However, he has to resist the temptation to coast and play too much on the perimeter in order to maximize production in the NHL.
Long Range Potential: Offensively gifted forward with good upside.
