Cominsky suffered an MCL tear during Detroit's practice Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Scouting Report
He was drafted as a defensive end, though he can move inside whenever necessary. Has spent a lot of time on the sidelines and the inactive list, so he remains fairly raw. His lack of pass-rushing moves can limit his playing time on defense, which could relegate him to special teams duty at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Rotational defensive lineman.
