The Browns signed Swaim to the active roster from the practice squad Wednesday.
Scouting Report
Is fundamentally sound and performs all the duties required of a starting tight end. Possesses few bells and whistles but is consistent and reliable as an inline blocker. Presents a big, mobile target as an outlet receiver and reels in any ball he can reach. Lacks quick burst but can get downfield once he gets rolling. Seldom adds yards after the catch and is somewhat injury-prone.
Long Range Potential: Solid tight end, when healthy.
