Coach Aaron Glenn noted Monday that the Jets are still gathering information on the injuries that Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) are dealing with, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Taylor was forced out of Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a groin injury.
A nice mix of accurate passing and super mobility in the pocket, and can make plays with both his arm and his feet. Has a great arm and and is decisive, which helps him make plays. Has worked to become a productive and efficient starting NFL QB. Not ideally-sized for the NFL quarterback spot, limiting his field vision in the pocket and leading to bouts of interceptions. Could do even more with his excellent feet and mobility. Must keep improving his defense recognition, play-calling skills, and patience.
Long Range Potential: Mobile but inconsistent starting quarterback.
