The former Fighting Irish wrecking ball can be a force on the inside as a disruptive pass rusher and a wide-bodied run stuffer. His tall, lean frame casts a broad net; he is able to reel in ball carriers at arms' length and blast through gaps with rare quickness for someone so large. Outmuscles blockers with natural strength and leverage. Works relentlessly toward the quarterback and is adept at batting down passes. Can still improve against the run by adding more mass. Also needs better recognition of blocking schemes and must work on his reaction time and his consistency.
