The Panthers are slated to sign Harris to a contract Tuesday, David Newton of ESPN reports.
Scouting Report
An above-average source of sacks who has a knack for getting past blockers. Has a big enough frame to excel in the NFL at the end position, is fairly explosive, and is strong enough physically to excel as a pro pass rusher. Additionally can get up in the air to disrupt passes. Is not ideally fast in the open field, so must lean on angles and technique to consistently get into the backfield. Also, can use more bulk and muscle on his frame to deal with massive offensive tackles and guards.
Long Range Potential: Solid pass rusher.
