Burks agreed to a one-year contract with the Heat on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
A true combo guard: capable of running the point impressively, yet also has the size and athleticism to score regularly as a wing player. Flashes a smooth mid-range jumper that helps him set up quality drives and dishes. Fluid moving around the court and a solid defender. Gets in the lane and draws fouls. Not the defensive playmaker he can be, and isn't much of a factor in the rebounding, steals, or blocks departments. Has a history of fairly significant injuries, and must show he can stay healthy for longer stretches.
Long Range Potential: Above-average combo guard with starter tools.
