George agreed to a four-year, $212 million maximum contract with the 76ers on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Elite as a scorer from all over the court, and also an elite defender. Makes great use of his excellent hands, wingspan, and footwork to both find his shot offensively and make life hard on opponents defensively. Rebounds well and is a top-tier man-to-man defender who hustles constantly. Also a deft passer and a ball-hawk. Turnovers and unnecessary fouls occasionally limit his production. Would benefit from improving his shot selection. Injury issues were fairly significant early in his career.
Long Range Potential: All-star, do-it-all swingman.
