In his only year at Duke University, he took a backseat to more heralded freshmen Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett and struggled in the college game. That did not prevent him from becoming a top-10 pick in the NBA Draft, mostly because of his total package: excellent ball-handling skills, the ability to create his own shot, an ideal body for the modern-day NBA and the versatility to play four positions at the highest level. He passes the ball well and plays within a team concept. What he lacks is the confidence to take over games, despite all the tools to do so.
