The Twins and Ober avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.55 million contract Thursday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Ober (12-7) took the loss Friday as the Twins fell 8-4 to the Reds, coughing up five runs on six hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out six.
