Lux started at third base and went 0-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in Monday's game against the Dodgers.
Reds manager Terry Francona said Tuesday that Lux will start at second base Saturday against the Guardians then move to third base Sunday against the Brewers, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports. Earlier in the day, Francona indicated he wants Matt McLain to be the team's primary second baseman.
A tremendous athlete, he hits line drives all day, every day with hard and consistent contact. Can also hit for power, though without sacrificing batting average. In the field, he is a smooth defender who can line up at either middle infield position. Has a strong arm but it can be somewhat erratic at times. Profiles as a superstar.
Long Range Potential: Athletic, talented middle infielder with big upside.
