Helsley signed a two-year contract with the Orioles on Saturday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Scouting Report
Throws very hard, whether it be his fastball, curve or cutter. Can really pound the strike zone and generally displays an approach on the bump. While he does have an athletic build, he lacks optimum height for a starting pitcher in MLB. At times, he lacks command of his arsenal.
Long Range Potential: Talented, hard-throwing right-hander with upside.
