Zastryzny (elbow) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Friday, striking out a batter while allowing two walks and one hit over a scoreless inning in his first appearance.
Scouting Report
Can be used as either a reliever or starter, which adds value to a Major League Baseball team. Has good size for a pitcher. Can strike batters out regularly in the minors. Gets into major trouble when he walks too many batters, even at the minor-league level. As a starting pitcher, he can be a bit too hittable for Major League Baseball.
Long Range Potential: Versatile left-hander.
