Gott (0-3) took the extra-innings loss against the Nationals on Tuesday, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and a walk across one inning.
Has the classic fastball-slider repertoire of a late-inning reliever, plus the ability to strike batters out regularly in the minor leagues. Has proven capable of closing out games down on the farm. Does not have the classic frame of a late-inning reliever (6-0, 185 pounds), so he must prove capable of enduring Major League Baseball over time. Walks can also be an issue for him.
Long Range Potential: Solid reliever with some upside.
