Pagan has an $8 million option this offseason that he's expected to exercise, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Scouting Report
A hard-throwing right-hander, he has good size and a penchant for striking plenty of batters out in the minor leagues. Can be effective when used in the later innings at lower levels. In order to maximize output in Major League Baseball, he will need to better harness his control (since he has a tendency to walk a few too many batters, even at the minor-league level).
Long Range Potential: Decent reliever with a little upside.
