Stanek (1-0) blew the save but collected the win in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning victory over the Rays, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits over 1.1 innings. He struck out two.

Scouting Report

Can be used as either a starter or reliever in the minor leagues, but his three-quarters delivery and explosive fastball make him ideal for a bullpen role in MLB. Owns a very projectable frame. Lacks command of his arsenal, so he needs to show great improvement in this area in order to become a starting pitcher in the big leagues.

Long Range Potential: Hard-throwing right-hander.
