The Diamondbacks exercised Suarez's $15 million club option for 2025 on Friday, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.
Suarez went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 5-3 loss to San Diego.
Is a good defender, complete with excellent instincts and a great throwing arm. With the bat, he excels at getting on base due to plate patience. Owns pretty good power, too. Can play several positions in the infield. Lacks ideal speed, so he cannot make a major impact on the bases. Lacks a little range when playing the shortstop position, which limits his ability to play to be a great utility infielder. Is prone to batting slumps.
Long Range Potential: Decent infielder.
