Scouting Report
Was a quality hitter with a good eye and approach at the plate (at lower levels). Improved his defensive work behind the plate over time. Had good size and durability. His lack of a power-hitting stroke minimized his production at the big-league level. Also struggled to throw out runners attempting to steal bases with any consistency.
Long Range Potential: Backup catcher.
