Kelly has been suspended one year for violating Major League Baseball's gambling policy, Jared Diamond of the Wall Street Journal reports.
Kelly (3-2) picked up the win over Atlanta on Saturday, firing a scoreless inning during which he issued two walks and uncorked a wild pitch.
Owns a very projectable (6-4) frame, so he should be able to pitch at well over 200 pounds once he puts on some more weight. Can be used as either a starter or reliever in the minor leagues. Has a lot of trouble throwing strikes with consistency, so he must improve his control in order to maximize output in the big leagues. Also gets into trouble when his pitches start to elevate.
Long Range Potential: Verstile right-hander.
