Almanzar agreed to a minor-league deal with Washington on Wednesday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.
Scouting Report
Owns a wealth of raw ability, including impressive power and some base-stealing ability at lower levels. Has a projectable frame and the ability to take a walk. Must become more refined in all aspects of the game in order to maximize his upside. Defensively, he needs to become a more consistent glove man.
Long Range Potential: Raw infielder.
