Lyles agreed to a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Thursday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
Scouting Report
Has plenty of pitching savvy. Owns a great changeup, which is his best out-pitch and an ideal frame (6-5, 230 pounds). Is a strike thrower, through and through. His fastball is only average, so it remains to be seen whether or not that will hurt him at the big-league level over the long haul. Can be too hittable, overall.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent right-hander.
