Had very good life on his fastball, mainly due to his strong lower body, and some versatility on the mound. Displayed the ability to pitch out of trouble. Had a lot of trouble harnessing his pitches, which hindered his potential as a reliever in Major League Baseball. Lacked control in the big leagues.
