Moran agreed Monday with Atlanta on a minor-league contract and received an invitation to MLB spring training, Chris Harris of the Mississippi Braves reports.
Scouting Report
Can be most effective as a situational left-hander, since he can deceive left-handed batters with relative frequency. Is also capable of piling up good strikeout totals. Needs to refine his pitching repertoire in order to be successful at the big-league level. Also needs to prove he can get right-handed batters out more frequently.
