Scouting Report
Swung with near-elite power, an impressive quality for a second baseman. Showed a strong ability as a run producer. Did a great job of taking walks, so he was regularly on base. Was intense and had leadership qualities. Struck out at eye-popping rates and struggled to bat for a good average. Was way too streaky at the plate. Also, he was not efficient as a base-runner. While not sub-par defensively, he could be streaky with the glove, as well.
Long Range Potential: Power-hitting second baseman.
